Week #8

Things in Canada are going good!! Very good! Our investigators baptism is in a couple weeks (on the 15th) so we are just preparing for that and I am soooo excited. We have been  doing a ton of finding trying to find a new investigator! One day we tracted a huge chunk of Beaumont and didn't get a single potential investigator and then the next day we had two lessons on a doorstep within 3 houses of each other!! It was definitely the coolest thing ever!! One of the ladies that we had a lesson with was just so prepared, it was awesome. Some elders had given her a Book of Mormon on the bus in Edmonton and she had been reading it since then but because of time, the elders didn't get to explain really anything about it. So we talked about that and then she mentioned that her husband and her are on a journey to find their faith. So we were definitely led to the right street and the right house. Then this other guy.. Haha we started teaching him the restoration, got through i...

Hey everyone!!! I hope things are going great and you are having a fabulous summer!! Happy Father's Day to all you dads too! I hope you had a great weekend, hopefully doing some fishing or BBQing 😁 So this week. Well it went pretty fast!! We did our service in the greenhouse for the last time because of the seasons so that was so sad. I loved doing service there!! Our  one investigator is doing so great! She is progressing and she already knows most of what we teach her because her fiances family really does a great job at supporting and fellowshipping her. If I stay here for transfers which it looks like I will be, I'll get to see her be baptized and I am just so excited I can hardly wait!!! The other investigator.. She was so busy and she got settled into something else so that was a huge bummer.. But we aren't giving up on her so hopefully things look up. We had exchanges with our Sister Training Leaders and they went so great. It was a blast. It poured rain that d...

I was really excited when I saw the Taos trailer! reminded me of home! :)) Anyway, sorry these didn't attach!! Have a great week everyone :)) I love you all!!!  just some more pics for you guys... the temple is really close to the stake center. Literally steps from the stake center. Alberta is big on oil too so once we start traveling into the city, there is a lot of oil  factory things :)

Week #6

im so sorry if you all get this email alot, my gmail has been acting really weird lately!  Hey everyone!! I hope you have all been doing great and enjoying the summer 😊 This week was definitely one to never forget. To begin, our mission is very big on committing our investigators to do baptisms in the temple after they are baptized to help them endure to the end. And we committed our investigator to do that so that was SO awesome 😊 and then we had the trainers meeting and I got to meet up with my MTC companion and roommates and ah, it was so much fun!!  We had the Apostle visit with Elder Ballard on Saturday and wowza, that was the neatest thing ever. Our whole mission was there (of 160 missionaries) and we started the visit by shaking his hand. That was way cool, of course. Elder Ballard is awesome! One of the best things he told us was "Just relax. Let the Lord help you. Be yourselves and smile! Be happy!"  :) There was a point in it that he was reading a chunk of...

Hey everyone!!! I hope that everyone has been doing great and has had an amazing week :)  This week has been great here in Beaumont :)) Beaumont is actually the 5th fastest growing town/city here in the whole country of Canada so that's cool! But we were able to drive out for a little bit and do some service in this awesome greenhouse!! it was so much fun to be there in the country and help this woman with all her flowers! It was awesome because in church we were talking about the three gardens that have added purpose to this life: Garden of Eden, Garden of Gethsemane, and Garden of the Empty tomb. So every time I see a person's garden, I'm reminded of those three life changing gardens in our own life <3 this week really picked up the pace for the work here and it was so awesome to see the Lord's hand in His work. We have a new investigator and we committed her to baptism! She is so awesome and is truly one of those that are prepared for us. I'm so excited t...
