Hey everyone! I'm happy to be almost a month out and a week down in the field! I hope you have all been doing great :) :)  Im happy to finally be here in Canada. The day getting here was so very long. but it was also really cool because I was able to run into my Aunt Cindy at the airport in Seattle. It was the craziest thing ever. Definitely a tender mercy since I didn't get to tell her bye at home!  President and Sister Pattison are so awesome. My trainer is Sister Beauchat (yes like water boy lol) and she is from Idaho like Sister Stastny. I do miss the sisters from the MTC. So  I have been assigned to the Beaumont area here near Edmonton. I always teased how I wouldn't wanna be called to a place like Sanford because of how well known the missionaries are and it would be tough to convert anyone because of that....well aye, I got sent to the Sanford of the mission lol. We just got an investigator which we met with the second day I was here, other than that..its been...

hey everyone! Today is a 1/2 Pday so here i am and maybe tomorrow, idk. this week has been so good and by far the best week in the MTC. It was just us 4 sisters and 4 elders in the whole zone for a few days and we were able to get so close, it was awesome. we got 8 new sisters and it was cool to see the progress we have already made seeing the ones that just got here.  last tuesday we had a devotional from the general primary president Joy D. Jones and her husband. it was incredible and i loved this quote her husband said "the best smell anyone can smell at church is cigarette smoke and alcohol because that means they are trying to change." that really touched me because sometimes we are quick to judge. Theres been so many great things here. We had a couple investigators this week and they were very helpful in preparing us for the next 17-18 months. One of them was really helpful because she was a very tough lady. The first time we taught her, we were..oh man.. so discou...

Hey everyone!! half a month down!! crazy stuff. I am so glad to hear about all the moisture and to hear that you are all doing well. thank you so much for the emails and letters!! i love hearing from you guys. So this week was pretty good. Its hard but hearing the blessings its already bringing is 110% worth every minute. i love it!! I loved hearing my familys voice on mothers day! that was so awesome! So to all the moms, happy late mothers day!! <3 I saw 3 of my UVU classmates and ward people so that was really cool!! We had 2 investigators last week and committed one to baptism (whew whew) and the other to considering baptism and working towards it. It was awesome because one was very skeptic about praying, she didnt like feeling, and we could not get her to pray so we kept teaching her from the Book of Mormon that God answers prayers and right as we thought she wasnt progressing, she said that she had prayed and started crying about the feeling that she knew God was listenin...

First week in MTC

Hey everyone! i miss you all and love you so much! so...on my tablet, the groups dont pop up so i basically lost all of my list of people to email so i am so very sorry if i missed one of your family members that were supposed to be on the list. but i tried to go off the top of my head. so the MTC is great. crazy story but before my roommates dropped me off here, we were almost in a really really bad wreck. we were literally inches away from being sandwhiched. Im not gonna lie..and im not being dramatic but i really did think i was gonna be in the hospital instead of the MTC lol. My suitcase flew in the car and hit taylors seat. I know the Lord was protecting me and needed me in the MTC so that was just a testimony to me that I am doing the right thing and thatHeavenly Father is going to take care of me. Oh and whenI got off the plane, my suitcase wheel broke and i was welcomed into the SLC airport by people shouting  welcome home to all of these missionarys. so that was weird...
