hey everyone! Today is a 1/2 Pday so here i am and maybe tomorrow, idk. this week has been so good and by far the best week in the MTC. It was just us 4 sisters and 4 elders in the whole zone for a few days and we were able to get so close, it was awesome. we got 8 new sisters and it was cool to see the progress we have already made seeing the ones that just got here.

last tuesday we had a devotional from the general primary president Joy D. Jones and her husband. it was incredible and i loved this quote her husband said "the best smell anyone can smell at church is cigarette smoke and alcohol because that means they are trying to change." that really touched me because sometimes we are quick to judge. Theres been so many great things here. We had a couple investigators this week and they were very helpful in preparing us for the next 17-18 months. One of them was really helpful because she was a very tough lady. The first time we taught her, we were..oh man.. so discouraged. She ended up not being very receptive to anything but we learned that we teach people and not lessons. the whole situation was very very different. She has been here at the MTC being taught by missionaries for 5 years... she had sister Stastnys older sister. so she was a very tough lady and it was hard but we know that when she is ready, she will latch on to the gospel so fast. This past week weve been spending alot of time as a district together and for our sacrament meetings here they pick the speakers out of the congregation right before they give the talks and we were all siting talking about sacrament meeting Saturday and me and one of the Elders (Elder Allen) we both said "we totally feel like they are going to choose us to talk" and well...they sure did. So i know that we oughtta follow that little small voice, because we prepared talks and they were put to use. so if its telling ya to go to church, get the car started. if its tellin you to pray, get on them knees. if its tellin you to tell someone you love them, get to talking :)

If you guys have time, read Jacob 2:1-2. The Lord pleads for your cause and i know it <3 i love you all!!! Christ lives and he loves us and wants us to become closer to him. On to Canada in T-10hrs.
