1/2 month down!!!!
Hey everyone!! half a month down!! crazy stuff. I am so glad
to hear about all the moisture and to hear that you are all doing well. thank
you so much for the emails and letters!! i love hearing from you guys.
So this week was pretty good. Its hard but hearing the
blessings its already bringing is 110% worth every minute. i love it!! I loved
hearing my familys voice on mothers day! that was so awesome! So to all the
moms, happy late mothers day!! <3 I saw 3 of my UVU classmates and ward
people so that was really cool!! We had 2 investigators last week and committed
one to baptism (whew whew) and the other to considering baptism and working
towards it. It was awesome because one was very skeptic about praying, she
didnt like feeling, and we could not get her to pray so we kept teaching her
from the Book of Mormon that God answers prayers and right as we thought she
wasnt progressing, she said that she had prayed and started crying about the
feeling that she knew God was listening and loved her. So we literally went
from not praying to considering baptism. The Spirit is an amazing tool in our
lives, holy moly.
We got our flight plans and we leave TUESDAY for Canada!!!
we leave at 3:30 inthe morningand stop in Seattle so i am SO excited for that.
I love it here at the MTC and the Spirit is so cool. We got to hear from Elder
Weatherford of the Seventy and we get to listen to another general authority
tonight. Soi am so excited to see who it is. One more story real quick. We had
this investigator and the first and only thing we saidduring the lesson was
"tell us about you :)" she talkedfor 45 minutes straight about her
life story. I was getting nervous because we hadnt even prayed or started a
lesson. But i got the strongest feeling that if the Savior was sitting by me,
he would simply just listen. Even though we didnt get a word in until the end,
the Spirit was so amazing. She told us at the end that our meeting was exactly
what she needed and she knew she had come to the right place because we had
just listened and she knew we cared. We bore testimony of Gods love for all of
us and for her and she started crying and ahh.. it was such a good experience.
We are the only district in our zone and it was so sad when the district above
us left. In one of my pictures is a polaroid picture that is captioned BFF...
thats Sister Archibald and she is the most amazing and hilarious person ive
ever met. Besides Rev, KC, and my sister...Sister Archibald will always be my
"BFF". Her story is amazing and something that sums up her testimony
is John14:18! That scripture is so awesome.
Theres so much to say but I hope that out of my letters you
guys know that i love and appreciate you all so so so very much. I know this
Church is the restored gospel of Jesus Christ and we can come closer to him by
following his example!! I love you!! talk to you next week when i am in Canada
:) :)
PS..im sending this now but will be back on here this
afternoon. :)
