Well Sister River officially made it to the MTC yesterday! We are thrilled with her decision to serve the people of Canada 🇨🇦 here are some of her goodbye for now pics!

heyyy everyone! i hope you all had a great week. it was reallllyyyy weird when i realized that it was Thanksgiving and we were gonna have turkey dinner a whole month early. But it was awesome and I am so grateful to be here in Canada, even if its just a tad chilly! this week was a bit of a tough one but there was a lot of miracles for sure! there always is :) we found 2 new investigators! Ones name is Keita and he is from Accra, Ghana. Haha ya I about died when he said he was Ghana if you couldnt picture that! He is really awesome and sooo prepared. I met him at the bus stop and I got to talking to him and made him miss his bus (oops). Hes been reading the Book of Mormon and he has no doubt that it is the word of God with the Bible. It was really cool because he started talking about a scripture in John that talks about how Christ is our shephard and the next verse is when Christ is talking about how he would visit the people in the Americas (John 10:16) and how there are other ...

Week 17

heyyyy everyone! i hope that you are all doing well and that the first week of school was good! This week was a fast one for sure. So cool story, the investigator I talked about last week that said she felt very uncomfortbale...well she is getting baptized in a couple weeks now and has a very strong testimony!! After that awkward lesson, she told us that the feeling she had in the chapel was just so foreign and strong that she didnt know how to express herself and that she felt like it was the Holy Ghost. Major plot twist but so incredibly awesome!! We taught her the Word of Wisdom and she was saying how after she committed to not drink coffee, her desire to do it went away. It was so so so cool. We have another investigator and she is so prepared. She literally cut us off as we were asking her to be baptized and told us yes before we could finish. She is amazing!! week 19

hi everyone!!! I hope that you have all had a great week and are safe from all these natural disasters!  This last week was good :) it was very busy and its going to get even more busy with the 2 baptisms coming up this weekend and 12 preset appointments we have. Its going to be a fun week! Our investigators are doing great and we are so pumped for this next Saturday!!! so life is good for everyone :) nothing really crazy happened this week. We have really grown close to the woman in the hospital and it was so cool to see how much she has grown. The first time we visited her, she was hiding the Book of Mormon around her roommates and was embarrassed of her religion. This last time we went and visited her, she had us bring extra copies of the Book of Mormon so she could write her testimony in them and give it to them!
