Week 15

Hi everyone :) well. im 2 for 2 on transfers with the changes and Im getting transferred to Mt. Pleasant which is in the city ( i think) and we will be serving in a YSA(Young Single Adult) Ward!! Ill be in a companionship of 3 and we will be pinkwashing the area (or starting clean) so it is going to be fun. Ill sure miss Beaumont! I love this place!!!! <3

So this week was just crazy hectic. Between cleaning and packing up the apartment on top of regular life in a week was crazy. I cant believe its already Pday! Holy smokes. I dont have much thats new this week  but we had a really cool experience! So we did mutual for the YW this week and we had them write their testimonies in a Book of Mormon and pick a house on the map that they wanted it to go to. Since we tracted out the whole town, we knew most of the houses so we went to deliver this Book of Mormon and last transfer, I had went to this house and visited with this woman and we all got to be pretty good frinds! I remember when we visited with her that I felt like we should introduce the Book of Mormon to her and I ended up not. Lesson learned, always follow the promptings of the Spirit. My jaw dropped when we pulled up to her house and that the YW that picked this house was in tune with the Spirit. She was so happy when we gave her the Book of Mormon and she said she would definitely give it a shot. It was soooooo cool. It was a testimony to me that Heavenly Father takes care of His children one way or the other. On the less serious side of things, Sister Passey and I bought one bag of Cheerios for cereal this week so we wouldnt have to throw away more food and that same day we got it, was the same day we dropped it every single cheerio out of the bag onto the floor. It was the funniest thing ever.. hahaha we just laugh everything off and ya know, it helps keep us sane in the crazy times :)) We got a new bag, no worries haha! But the work is still goin and we dropped a couple investigators because we couldnt get ahold of them but we have a very solid one and we had Family Home Evening with him and a family in our ward lastnight and it was really good!!! We had a lesson with a man and well Sister Passey says it alot better than I do so heres her version of our lesson:
We were going through our phone switching all our old contacts over from dino to the new phone and we were calling through the potentials and formers in there and we got some appointments which was awesome, and one was with a guy named Irv. He was a former investigator and the note on his record said that maybe he should just be fellowshipped by his neighbors for a bit. But we were like eh we'll call anyways and see. So we set up an appointment for yesterday. That was a mistake. He lives in a relatively secluded place and yea. Just bad juju mcgumbo right there. He was quite bashy initially,  and we are used to that so no biggie,  then he started getting  creepy. And his dog was giving us anxiety because it was basically attacking us the whole time and wouldn't leave us alone and suffice it to say that was the worst hour or so of our lives. And y'know what? Life is pretty darn good if that is the worst thing. But God loves that man and we did our best to see what we could do for him, and that's what counts. We will not be going back. But. He has tools necessary to make changes in his life and be happy. So we'll keep praying for Irv.

Its been a crazy week, theres no beating around that bush but we made it and life is good! Its in the weakest points that we rely on the Savior the most so Im thankful for those moments. Sister Passey will still have stewardship over the people here with another area so that is so comforting!! Beaumont has been amazing and Im going to miss everyone here. Sunday felt like a funeral lol because everyone was telling us bye- it kind of felt like leaving home again haha! But i will have more pictures next week for sure!! Love and miss you all!!! :) <3
