week 14








Hi everyone! I hoppe your last weeks of summer are going great! I cant believe that its August already!! My week has been pretty jam packed! So heres a little overview of my week..

Tuesday- WE WENT TO JASPER AND SAW THE MTNS
Wednesday- Zone Conference in North Edmonton with a new implementation called Tiwi for our cars.
Thursday- We got Facebook and had a day long training on using smartphones and social media.
Friday-Saturday- complete blur lol
Sunday- 2 of our investigators came to church!!! 
Monday- We volunteered at Heritage Days!

Jasper was just the most amazing thing ever. Haha I know it has been just 3 months but oh i wanted to just shed a little tear when i saw the mountains. Ah! They are gorgeous!!!!! The glacier lakes too. Everyone needs to go to Jasper. Hands down. It was so much fun. The member that took us forgot to exit so we toured a little bit of Edmonton before going to Jasper lol. We saw elk, mountain goats, mountain sheep, and  some white tail! I loved it!! :)) Zone Conference was great and we had interviews! President Pattison is so great!! He is just so inspired. The training he gave was all on faith and the way we look at things. We just always have to have our faith lenses on because when we are going through something tough, we are learning and growing and thats our whole purpose of why we are here on earth. So we have 6 investigators and life is good in Beaumont. It was really cool to see the Lords hand in it all. We had a supper appointment with a family on Friday and they ended up cancelling. Well another family signed up and well, our new investigator was over (we didnt know him until this). The timing was perfect! We met this person and they openly told us of the trial he was going through. We talked about how the Book of Mormon can answer our questions so he took up the challenge and asked one right there. His concern was answered right then and there so he decided to ask another question and the Book of Mormon answered it again!! :)) It was so cool to see the power behind the Book of Mormon!! Our investigator Lance came to church and it was great and he said something that was really cool. He forgot the address at home and here in Beaumont there is like a billion churches so he was about to turn back but he said that he saw Jesus Christ on our building and knew that had to be it. That seems to be a misconception here is that the church worships Joseph Smith and I love being a missionary to help people understand that Christ is at the center of everything. Its the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints!! :)) Like the same church Christ established when he was on the earth is back in its fullness!! And he did that through the prophet Joseph Smith!! I just love it. Yesterday we went to Heritage Days and it was a blast. That festival is HUGE. There were booths of like every country in the world set up and they had performances going on! We collected food tickets by the buses for the food bank and we were able to meet tons of people. Alot of people were like "theres the missionaries!!!" and it reminded me of when id say that at Pioneer Days so it was weird to be on the other side of it! haha its so fun! :)) Anyway, i love you all so much!!Thank you SO MUCH for all your love and support <3 you guys are the best!!

hi everyone!!! I hope that you have all had a great week and are safe from all these natural disasters!  This last week was good :) it was very busy and its going to get even more busy with the 2 baptisms coming up this weekend and 12 preset appointments we have. Its going to be a fun week! Our investigators are doing great and we are so pumped for this next Saturday!!! so life is good for everyone :) nothing really crazy happened this week. We have really grown close to the woman in the hospital and it was so cool to see how much she has grown. The first time we visited her, she was hiding the Book of Mormon around her roommates and was embarrassed of her religion. This last time we went and visited her, she had us bring extra copies of the Book of Mormon so she could write her testimony in them and give it to them! Hi everyone!!! I hope your week was super awesome!! Mine was pretty great!! Sooo Caitlin was baptized this week and it was so awesome!!! Our other investigator backed out last minute. It was really sad but we know that she has a testimony and that she will be baptized one day. But Caitlin. Holy moly she is awesome!!! Idk how many of you saw her testimony on Facebook but the growth she has made because of the Gospel of Jesus Christ... ITS SO AWESOME. When we first met her, holy moly it was so awkward because the Spirit was so strong in each lesson but she didnt know what in the world she was feeling because it was so foreign. Once she accepted that it was the Spirit and realized that this was Gods plan for her, she dropped everything that would hold her back in the blink of an eye. I love her so much!! We had a really cool experience at the library downtown the other day. So we had an appointment set for someone else but they ended up cancelling and we were just g

heyyy everyone! i hope you all had a great week. it was reallllyyyy weird when i realized that it was Thanksgiving and we were gonna have turkey dinner a whole month early. But it was awesome and I am so grateful to be here in Canada, even if its just a tad chilly! this week was a bit of a tough one but there was a lot of miracles for sure! there always is :) we found 2 new investigators! Ones name is Keita and he is from Accra, Ghana. Haha ya I about died when he said he was Ghana if you couldnt picture that! He is really awesome and sooo prepared. I met him at the bus stop and I got to talking to him and made him miss his bus (oops). Hes been reading the Book of Mormon and he has no doubt that it is the word of God with the Bible. It was really cool because he started talking about a scripture in John that talks about how Christ is our shephard and the next verse is when Christ is talking about how he would visit the people in the Americas (John 10:16) and how there are other &q
