week 12

hi everyone! holy moly. this week was crazy..awesome..and crazy again. all good things, all good things :)

So it has just been storming like crazy here. The rain is insane!! Sister Passey and I are convinced that a tsunami is going hit or something wild. Haha i thought Valley weather was bi polar..Canada is probably worse even lol. So let me tell you why Im telling you about this crazy weather. We had like a crazy day and to be honest, it was a very discouraging day. We had been looking and looking for fellowshippers to come to our lesson with one of our investigators and it took some hard work and looking for two to come with us, finally got two men to come with us,  then that teaching appointment was cancelled, and it was just a crazy day. Then, we went to do our backups.. and our backups fell through because it was pouring rain and we couldnt tract in that. So we filled our time trying to fulfill our purpose as best as we could going through the area book and finally it was time we could head back to the apartment. Well, the day before we had went to our favorite little ladys home to see how she was doing and she was so sad because her flowers had gotten beaten up pretty bad in the storm. It was storming ridiculously hard at that time we had gotten home and as we finished praying as a companionship, we bolted up, drove to that womans home, and got all of her flowers undercover. She caught us doing it as she was looking out her window at the storm and we were conpletely drenched from the storm but honestly, Sister Passey and I felt SO beyond good after doing it. It was such a hard day and service made it a complete turn around. We got in the car and with smiles on our face like we had just won a million bucks haha and im not just saying that. Service is truly the antidote of having a bad day. When we forgot ourselves and went to work, we were filled with the Spirit. It was the coolest thing ever. 

Also, in other news... WE GOT FACEBOOK. So if you see me on Facebook, dont you fret- its legal lol. So catch you on there my friends :) Canada Edmonton Mission is now a Facebook mission. Its a bit weird..like really weird to see the Facebook app on my tablet but i know that we can hasten the work through technology. Anndddd the work is going great! We went from 1 investigator to FIVE this week!! Prayer is real. Prayer is real <3 Ive learned so much here in Beaumont and I just love this little place. In other other news, SISTER PASSEY AND I ARE GOING TO JASPER TODAY with a member!!! It was a pretty last minute trip and we are so excited so i am so sorry i wont be able to respond to alot of your emails today!! I love you all so much!! Thanks so much for all of the emails!!!!

hi everyone!!! I hope that you have all had a great week and are safe from all these natural disasters!  This last week was good :) it was very busy and its going to get even more busy with the 2 baptisms coming up this weekend and 12 preset appointments we have. Its going to be a fun week! Our investigators are doing great and we are so pumped for this next Saturday!!! so life is good for everyone :) nothing really crazy happened this week. We have really grown close to the woman in the hospital and it was so cool to see how much she has grown. The first time we visited her, she was hiding the Book of Mormon around her roommates and was embarrassed of her religion. This last time we went and visited her, she had us bring extra copies of the Book of Mormon so she could write her testimony in them and give it to them! heyyy everyone! i hope you all had a great week. it was reallllyyyy weird when i realized that it was Thanksgiving and we were gonna have turkey dinner a whole month early. But it was awesome and I am so grateful to be here in Canada, even if its just a tad chilly! this week was a bit of a tough one but there was a lot of miracles for sure! there always is :) we found 2 new investigators! Ones name is Keita and he is from Accra, Ghana. Haha ya I about died when he said he was Ghana if you couldnt picture that! He is really awesome and sooo prepared. I met him at the bus stop and I got to talking to him and made him miss his bus (oops). Hes been reading the Book of Mormon and he has no doubt that it is the word of God with the Bible. It was really cool because he started talking about a scripture in John that talks about how Christ is our shephard and the next verse is when Christ is talking about how he would visit the people in the Americas (John 10:16) and how there are other &q

Hi everyone!!! I hope your week was super awesome!! Mine was pretty great!! Sooo Caitlin was baptized this week and it was so awesome!!! Our other investigator backed out last minute. It was really sad but we know that she has a testimony and that she will be baptized one day. But Caitlin. Holy moly she is awesome!!! Idk how many of you saw her testimony on Facebook but the growth she has made because of the Gospel of Jesus Christ... ITS SO AWESOME. When we first met her, holy moly it was so awkward because the Spirit was so strong in each lesson but she didnt know what in the world she was feeling because it was so foreign. Once she accepted that it was the Spirit and realized that this was Gods plan for her, she dropped everything that would hold her back in the blink of an eye. I love her so much!!
