Week 20
Sooo Caitlin was baptized this week and it was so awesome!!!
Our other investigator backed out last minute. It was really sad but we know
that she has a testimony and that she will be baptized one day. But Caitlin.
Holy moly she is awesome!!! Idk how many of you saw her testimony on Facebook
but the growth she has made because of the Gospel of Jesus Christ... ITS SO
AWESOME. When we first met her, holy moly it was so awkward because the Spirit
was so strong in each lesson but she didnt know what in the world she was
feeling because it was so foreign. Once she accepted that it was the Spirit and
realized that this was Gods plan for her, she dropped everything that would
hold her back in the blink of an eye. I love her so much!!
We had a really cool experience at the library downtown the
other day. So we had an appointment set for someone else but they ended up
cancelling and we were just going to go contact on the railing system. Some
other missionaries last minute said that they wanted to pass over an
investigator to us since they are in our area. So we real quick drove to
downtown and went to the library. This was at like 7 and we had an appointment
at 8. We got to the library and waited for this guy and it was starting to get
too late to have a lesson. But I recognized this lady that is in our ward..we
havent learned everyones names quite yet so I just waved at her and smiled.
Well she came over to us and told us that she was going to go inactive but that
she was praying for help and then we came!!! We didnt end up meeting with the
investigator but it was so cool to see how Heavenly Father leads us to these
peope because all in all, we were led to the library to talk to her.
Funny story for the week. We got the peace officers called
on us. Dont worry, we ran. Hahahaha jk. So a bunch of us missionaries got together
and sang a bunch of hymns in the underground LRT station (kinda like a subway).
We were having the best time ever when we got a call from another set of
missionaries saying that the cops were coming after us because someone reported
us! hahaha so we got out of there but it was just funny how someone called the
peace officers on people who are just trying to publish peace hahah!
Its getting pretty chilly, but its just been raining raining
raining. No snow yet so everyones wondering what in the world is going on. I
hope that you all have a great week and if it hasnt started out too
good...heres this scripture that is one of my favorites that I think Ive
already shared but I just love it!!!

5) the elders also had a baptism into our ward and the turn
out was great. The support in the ward is amazing and there were so many
people! this is just a picture of us talking about the Book of Mormon! i will
have to record the message we shared or type it up or something because it is
so cool!!! :))
